China Internal Picture Post Card
December 29, 1908

This neat picture post card did its postal duty within China from Tientsin to Peking.

It was franked with stamps of the Chinese Imperial Post
1900 issue: 1c ochre (SG 122) and 2c red (SG 123).

The card received three Tientsin date stamps on mailing and two
Peking, Chine, French Post Office receivers dated January 6, 1909.

The picture shows natty French troops of the
16th Colonial Regiment in Tientsin before the garrison's gate.
