Today in Postal History
Estonia
November 15, 1922
Just a simple post card mailed from Paldiski
which arrived in Tallinn less than 50 km east north east the next day.*
Perhaps someone who can translate the message can get something else
out of it.
The stamp is a perf 14 2½ mark claret weaver of 1922 (Scott 61).
Here's the reply from Tallinn to Paldiski ten years later!*
*Thanks to Jim Whitford-Stark for the
geographical research
(geology and history lesson, too!) and finding the related cover.
