Today in Postal History
Bahamas to United States
November 6, 1934
This is a rather simple airmail cover postmarked in Nassau
with a single ring CDS.
The stamp is the 6p multiple crown and script CA watermarked
perf 14 bister brown of 1922 (Scott 79).
The N. .P in the return address is an abbreviation (albeit
with
a typo) for New Providence,
the island on which Nassau is located.*
*Thanks to Paul (Quokka) for this addition.
