Tuamotu to United States
October 14, 1965
Cancelled in Napuka, Tuamotu.
Tuamotu is one of the island groups in French
Polynesia.
The other islands are the Society Islands, the Marquesa Islands, and
Gambier, Austral and Rapa Islands.
Franked with three contemporary commemoratives:
1963 Human Rights Issue 7fr (Scott 266 - a Common Design Issue),
1964 Tahitian Dancer 1fr (Scott 208),
and 1964 2fr View of Tuamotu (Scott 211).
Although it looks philatelic,
it is an attractive cover from an exotic island.
