Morocco to France
June 20, 1923

The flight was carried on an early flight by Lignes Aériennes Latécoère.
The history of the airline was discussed on 05/30.

This particular cover was carried on a route pioneered in 1919.
As noted in the previous page, this portion of the route was a
stepping stone to subsequent service from France to South America.

This cover was posted in Casablanca.
There are two CDS.

The destination was Paris.
Latécoère would have carried the cover at least to Toulouse.

Although there is no Paris receiver on the front it is likely that there was one on the rear.

The cover is franked with a 1922 75c deep green
biplane over Casablanca airmail stamp (Scott C5).

The skillful shaded lettering of this cover's script makes it especially appealing.
