STAMP SHOW IN COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA

The Collier County Stamp Club will hold its annual show, Naplex 2004, at The Conservancy, 1450 Merrihue Ave. off 14th Ave. North, Naples, Florida, on Saturday and Sunday March 20 and 21, 2004.  The show will be open and free to the public from 10 am to 5 pm Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.  The Conservancy is just east of Goodlette-Frank road in Naples which runs north and south east of US 41 (Tamiami Trail) in Naples.  The nearest intersection is Goodlette-Frank and Golden Gate.  For those familiar with Naples, 14th Avenue is north of the Main Post Office on Goodlette-Frank and south of Jungle Larry's Zoological Gardens.  Go east on 14th and turn left at the entrance to The Conservancy.  Watch for the signs.

The show features exhibits of stamps of postal history, youth help and guidance with free stamps, and a stamp dealers' bourse providing collectors the opportunity to enhance their collections.

A United States Postal Station will provide collectors with the most recently issued stamps and other related materials.  A special U.S. Postal service cancel will also be available for canceling mail posted at the two show days only.  The cancellation will honor Baseball Spring Training - it's already pitchers and catchers here in South Florida.!

Naplex Show Cancel

The club offers two different cacheted envelopes as souvenirs of the occasion.  These envelopes will be franked with appropriate baseball stamps issued by the USPS.  The covers will be available at 2 different for $3.00 at the club booth or by mail from Naplex Cachets, 3562 Antarctic Circle, Naples, FL 34112  -- SASE please.
