Appendix II: Tips for Listing and Selling Stamps on eBay Under
ConstructionBy Jim Watson
Most stamp collectors have a secret desire to make a living selling stamps. And what could be more fun? Fortunately, most of us never have to make our living that way. Collectors can, and do, supplement their collecting budget by selling surplus philatelic material. Stamp collecting starts with saving stamps off of envelopes and this gives rise to duplicates. Added acquisitions lead to more surplus stock. eBay is the perfect outlet for worthwhile duplicate material which a collector may acquire. You should start by learning how to navigate the pages in eBay. If you haven't already become an accomplished eBay surfer, learn about eBay at the Learning Center. It provides links to the many ways to make use of eBay resources. You'll also need to Register (really quite simple) if you intend to buy or sell on eBay. It will also show you how to input an auction page. Next review the advice found on the Sell buttons found at the top of most eBay pages. Explore the advice and rules found on each of the subsidiary links. Reading these links will make your effort more successful and speed your learning process. - - - to be completed - - -
